A splendid English garden in Warwickshire
Having outlined what the customer was hoping to achieve from laying two patio areas in their rear garden, a plan was created and quotation agreed.
The materials had been ordered and sited in the garden weeks before our arrival which meant we were able to crack on with preparing the groundwork straight away and laid the full slabs to the bottom garden area on day one. We completed both areas including grouting the joints in just over three days (not including the raised pond which was already in situ).
Having transformed the appearance of the garden, the customer decided that the lawn “let it down” and asked us to sort that out too. The large lawn was completed the following week, which included lifting/rotavate and disposing of original uneven lawn, levelling and laying fresh turf.
Products used
The patios are mixed-size Rutland concrete paving slabs in autumn gold, enclosed by charcoal block borders and kerbs. We laid a new lawn and added matching autumn gold stepping stones to connect the two patios.

A big thank you to Ben and the team at BB Landscapes for totally transforming our garden, we are so please with it! During our initial meeting I presented Ben with a layout of how we had envisaged the garden would look. After a brief walk around and discussion, Ben then added several ideas which were most helpful and made perfect sense. They cleared the ground and constructed two patio areas at either end of the garden (a total area of over 40 square metres) and laid at new lawn between the two. Ben and his team arrived punctually as agreed and Ben then briefed them on the job in hand. Every aspect of the job was carried out to a very high standard and their skills were very evident. They also involved me regularly, checking that I was happy with how they were progressing. I have now booked them to come back and lay the lawn.
